   Hanlon's Razor is basically invoked almost exclusively to excuse obviously bigoted behavior.

   "Maybe the folks in white robes burning a cross on your lawn aren't racist, maybe they just don't know how to chop wood into short pieces and build a campfire."

   It's exhausting.
