    #writever Superindividual

On Earth, only one real example of a superindividual has ever developed : sheep. The whole of the species works like a single organism, the intelligence of which is divided among its members. And therein lies the rub.

@noam Indeed! For this #writever I did ponder a story where ants, known to form colonies already, would unite into a single Gestalt over the whole planet and take over humanity (and come to think of it, bees could have been included in it too as an airborne component) -- but I preferred the lighter tone of a much less dangerous dimwitted sheep Gestalt.?

@aaribaud I think ants and bees would qualify too.
