So... I've decided that I'm going to sunset this account. Thank you for all the good times and connections, but I think it's time to move on.

I have felt growing levels of discomfort using this platform for several months now. Things have happened that have re-affirmed that feeling (Drew's blog post, discussing with friends, more drama, etc.) and I've decided that I no longer find it enjoyable or healthy to have a "personal" account on Fedi. The latest drama was just the straw that broke the camel's back. That, plus several frustrations with Misskey as a whole, means that I rarely feel happiness when I visit this place. Instead, I frequently feel anxiety, annoyance, and drained of energy.

I value the good times I had and the friendships I made from this place, and will try to continue cultivating those via other means. If you still want to have some sort of contact with me, you likely already have a way, or you can find contact information on my website.

I will keep a presence on Fedi (on the Mastodon™ network) at Merveilles.town, as that community has been positive and healthy for me, and I will likely continue to follow most of you from there, but I won't be around in the same way as I have been here. Maybe I'll be back in the future if I really find myself missing this place, but I wouldn't count on it.

I have also dicussed this with Feli and she will continue to use her Misskey account and also her accounts on universe.feliver.se.
