In Europe, pharmacies are selling home test kits that can test COVID-19, Influenza A & B and RSV. In Spain, they are sold for 2 euros plus. I tried to buy a similar product in the US but haven't been able to find one.

Since I'm a political scientist, I'm wondering whether for-profit labs might be lobbying the US government to delay the approval of such home test kits. The US healthcare system is being burdened by the rising cases of COVID-19, RSV and flu. Why not speedily approve antigen test kits like in Europe?
