   I'm gonna keep saying that without the equivalent of a universal quote tweet function, this platform just doesn't give folks the ability to engage with others' points quickly, critically, and clearly.

   There are workarounds, but they take time.

   Screenshots require copying and pasting into alt text, plus remembering the @ of the person you're replying to.

   Urls are fine but people have to click through and leave your content for the original.

     Despite the mansplaining, I've really enjoyed replies engagement here.

     I keep finding myself pulled back to Twitter, though, because the quote-tweet function is such a powerful tool for engagement.

     The workarounds here are either too localized, too obscuring (url), or too time-consuming when posted accessibly (screenshots).
