   @kingsley He's invoking the stupid little game of hide-the-ball that "libertarians" pick up from breezy lectures on utilitarianism that filled them with awe as well-fed children—the so-called "law of unintended consequences," under which the Best of All Possible Worlds can best be achieved through the mean-spirited rapaciousness of cold-blooded sociopaths.

   To borrow a phrase from the artificial person Ash in Alien, they admire its purity.

     What is wrong with doing good as oppose to doing bad?

     Ben? doesn't like people that want to make the earth a more fair and equitable place.
