   @nicolewolverton No quite on point, but IIRC there is a scene in Fargo (movie version) that involves ice-fishing equipment.

     Huh. Just realized I've never seen a horror film or read a horror novel involving ice fishing. There's gotta be something, but it seems like an oversight... especially since I can also easily imagine a plot connected to climate change and the desperation to survive.
