   @jasohill Our big local nursery between Nagoya and Toyota City has a food section with "small-flake" oatmeal that is about 50% the cost of rolled oats. With jam made from Japanese plums, just magic.

     Oatmeal is really taking off here in Japan. Not sure why, but it takes me back to those cold Alberta mornings, having a hot bowl with toast and brown sugar before hockey practice. 懐かしいね。#oatmeal #japan
