I've spoken at length about how Mastodon (as a collective entity) is creating an intranet unto itself and sequestering itself from the wider fediverse. It could very well be, additionally, that the arrival of Twitter users to the fediverse have dramatically accelerated and encouraged this trend. As though Twitter users migrating onto Mastodon networks are intentionally and purposefully trying to build, through collective Mastodon instances, a recreation of Twitter---a network not apart of a "federated universe"; Rather, a de facto Twitter BlueSky Project using the Mastodon side of the fediverse as a possessed entity towards such ends.
