Seeing some people on the reddit AmA ask why Mastodon has so few developers and so many open issues on github etc...
Like 2 months ago Mastodon was being funded less than 10k a month, that includes server costs. Mastodon could barely pay its CEO a wage.
Even at 30k a month, that's barely enough money to employ 2-3 people if you include all the overhead of running the company and servers.
Idk what people expect. There are no billionaires here, or investors.
