BREAKING: The Department of Education has launched an investigation of Granbury ISD's decision to remove LGBTQ books from its libraries. The move follows @ProPublica and @texastribune reporting with NBC News back in March.

The Dept. of Ed's Office for Civil Rights investigation is believed to be the first related to the nationwide movement to ban school library books dealing with sexuality and gender.
