I began writing this video (article) a few years ago but recently decided to go into sicko mode and finish it for good. This is actually not so much about Discord as it is modern internet communication in general, you could replace Discord with almost any "modern" chat system and this vid would still apply quite a lot. I am not saying if you use discord or prefer discord you are a bad person or anything. I am simply stating that Discord is part of the slope the entire internet has been sliding down since 2009 getting deeper and deeper into hell. Discord plays a big role in that, but if it wasn't Discord than it would be something else. Telegram has basically the exact same issues.
