寮 (ryo@social.076.moe)'s status on Tuesday, 20-Dec-2022 12:08:59 JST 寮 The internet wasn't designed to be like that though, it's those who took subverted it who made it that way.
Which is why I'm advocating for moving to the darknets while it's still possible, because there's going to be a time where it's going to be too late, and the only people on Tor and I2P will be those of us who already knew about it before the clearnet became entirely controlled by (((THEM))). -

Wrongthink (wrongthink@cdrom.tokyo)'s status on Tuesday, 20-Dec-2022 12:09:00 JST Wrongthink @ryo I’ve been reflecting on this noticeable change and have begun to suspect that the movement for online safe spaces/hugboxes has been propelled by entities preparing to pull off the scamdemic, as getting everyone hooked on controlled online spaces was a precondition to steering the fake narrative. It’s just a theory atm

Terminal Autism (terminalautism@social.076.moe)'s status on Tuesday, 20-Dec-2022 12:45:31 JST Terminal Autism I do worry about that. Being completely isolated from normalfags is better on an individual level, but it also means that they are not going to see the things that you say. In my case, though, I think it's fine to let other people bridge the gap, because normalfags cannot understand what I say anyway.
Also, the only website that they use that to me is even bearable in terms of having content that interests me is YouTube, but it's easy to get shadowbanned there, and I already did in 2021. It's also difficult to be seen, because it's so infested with trash. It's also unusable for posting videos unless you dox yourself because of the time limit.
Anyway, the most normalfaggy website that I post on is Odysee, and even there, it's pretty easy to tell that some people are just hopeless. Still, it is an environment where I was able to spread information. I don't really know what to do now. I think trying to wake people up in real life may actually be more effective, even if that involves just showing people videos, or whatever. But it's hard to know what to do, because if they still don't know what is going on, then what the hell could possibly wake them up? -

Which is actually a good thing.
Let the normies swim in the diarhea they themselves pooped out, the only exception are those who are legit willing to learn how to use computers the right way, I don't mind letting them into the good stuff.
> then what the hell could possibly wake them up?
A giant meteor perhaps?
Sometimes we'll have to accept that some people are beyond repair, which is exactly why isolating from them is a good thing.
