   感想を一言。ともかく一度観てみてください。出来ることなら IMAX 3D で。

   Just watched AVATAR 2 The Way of Water, and I really liked it! The last 3 hour + has been a feast for my eyes and senses. Love the very fact that we human beings (especially those from 1st capitalist world) are portrayed for what we really are; a total vermin and cancer cell on the Earth that eats away and destroys everything in our way.      @maruchika 技術の進歩はすごいものだな、と思い知らされました。3時間以上ですが、私個人はそんなに長いとも思わなかったです。水中のシーンを観ていて、何度も3年前に行ったモルディブの透明な青い海を思い出して、戻りたくなりました?

     @yuril 実は、前作を劇場に行けてなくて（ちょうど子供たちが小さくて置いて外出できない頃でした）今回の公開に先立ってリバイバル上映したのを先月IMAXに観にいきました。10年以上前と思えないクオリティに驚きました。

     さらにバージョンアップしているとは楽しみです。劇場で宣伝は何度か見ていますがそこだけでもとても美しい。。

     仕事で一回だけモルディブの運転免許証を見たことがあります。現地の文字が書いてあったのですが、全く知らないタイプの文字で驚きました。

     @maruchika 2009年公開の AVATAR 1 も、今観直しても見事な仕上がりですよね。当時のCGIや特殊効果技術の粋を集めて作られた、ある意味その分野での常識を覆す作品だったと思います。今回の2は、それから13年も経っている訳ですが、また新たに現代の特殊効果技術の常識を覆す、見事な仕上がりになっていると思います。水の表現というのは非常に難しいはずなのに、見事の一言しか表しようがありません。個人的に 3D はあまり好きではないのですが、この作品はIMAX 3D で観れるとより凄いかと。まるで自分も水中にいるような錯覚を味わえます。
