I see you write software for the Fediverse. I'm new here, but while poking around happened to notice that our ex-twitter @Jack, is now pusing NOSTR. Thoughts?

Alex Gleason (alex@gleasonator.com)'s status on Sunday, 18-Dec-2022 00:31:27 JST Alex Gleason @dev What I love about Nostr: the idea of separating Relay and Client. Decentralized users with private keys. It’s a great system to build upon.
What I hate about it: Not interoperable with the existing Fediverse, even though it could be. Fragments the movement, making it less likely we actually win. It should have been a refractor instead of a rewrite.

Alex Gleason (alex@gleasonator.com)'s status on Sunday, 18-Dec-2022 00:46:53 JST Alex Gleason @issdeinschnitzel @dev Yes, absolutely. But instead of a bridge, we should just make an AP server with the Relay/Client separation while still speaking AP. Then it does away with the need for Nostr because you can achieve the same thing with AP.
