     English is this weird language where negative + negative = negativity is canceled.
     In Japanese, negative + negative = still negative.

     Curious, what would be a simple example of a double negative in Japanese?

     More or less. I conceptualize English double negatives the same as -1 * -1

     @enjoyer @Misato @luithe A very simple example would be "誰もいない" (literally: nobody's not here), meaning "nobody's here".
     Although on the other hand, "誰もいる" just means "everybody's here".
