    I am ANGRY.

I just checked my locked-down account on the birdsite, where I had previously deleted all my tweets using https://tweetdelete.net, only to find that 3,152 of them had been somehow restored (from a backup, perhaps?).

I once again ran TweetDelete to remove them this morning, but I am wondering if I should just deactivate my damn account and let them delete it after 30 days.

@ryanschultz Given the ineptness of the TW team now, and the shutdown of so many microservices, etc, eventually they will have a backup failure unable to retrieve older deleted tweets. Perhaps run it every 30 days I suppose. I archived my tweets as of November 5, 2022 to the Wayback Machine. Have not posted anything of interest (except promos of NASA posts) other than event notifications and helpful info to get into the Fediverse. (I had locked it down after attempting to reconnect with the followers that TW team forced unfollowed and getting rid of alt-righters I had blocked that the TW team unblocked and forced me to follow more than once.) My reach and engagement in the Fediverse is far higher than it ever was on TW and FB. I attribute this to the design of the Fediverse not allowing corporate control over my user experience as a product of theirs. Here, "Fedizens" control the Fediverse and any org, business, or government engaging are here as guests not overlords. We are a threat to TW et al because we are stronger together.
