     The other side to this is the disdain with which people treat mothers in public
     
     Being irritable with a mother because her infant is crying… making comments about how large a family is…
     
     All of these things make motherhood socially undesirable
     
     I think a real positive thing we could all do is to smile and mothers with young children, help them get their strollers up stairs if needed, don’t complain if kids are being loud
