     @sir_siers Thought about it before, because the Apple One subscription is cheaper than separate music/tv etc
     Now the last hurdle is taken: it's now in the car after the last update.

     @ruud I've moved the other way. There's not too much difference although for some reason I seemed to listen to more of my old favourite music on Apple Music, whereas I seem to listen to more new (to me) music on Spotify.

     @ruud after 5 years at Spotify I moved to Apple Music. Of course with the family, kids weren’t happy but have adjusted.

     @ruud I used Apple Music for the last several years. It was great, but when I cancelled it, my music library became corrupted and I lost several albums that I had purchased prior to subscribing. Several more tracks are unplayable on my phone with no apparent explanation. I used to recommend Apple Music to people. Not anymore unless they literally never used iTunes back in the day.

     @ruud I've been enjoying YouTube music. It has all my remixes and various YouTube videos pre-converted to songs (I quite enjoy the musical creativity of some online fandoms).

     ... I'd almost recommend it, depending on your views on rather large corporate social media websites... ?

     @ruud AM tends to be a tradeoff. If you're in the Apple ecosystem, it's a lot easier to swallow the shortcomings. I find the holdovers from the iTunes era like smart playlists are really key differentiators for the service, it's just stuff Spotify simply doesn't do.

     @ruud Spotify has much better suggestion algorithms, whereas Apple music has better quality in general. So it depends on your priorities.
