   *sigh* I love how new programs are made all the time. I hate how so many think old programs are garbage cause they like the new programs - "It's easier". No, what I already know is easy. If there's no value for me with the new, why invest time to learn it? You're not investing time to learn the "old".

   "Python is easy!" "Python is popular!" For me, no. I have no reason to use it. None. Nada. Ziltch.

   Please stop saying people should stop using the old stuff. Use what you want and do good things!

     @mos_8502 @living8bit Python is *very* easy to learn if you already know another language. And comes with a number of useful constructs that aren't easily expressed in C. It has its uses - what you do is what informs the choice of language.

     @living8bit I’m happy with C most of the time. I use C++ when I need one of the features or I’m required to. I don’t need anything Rust or Python or TwatHinge or GobblePlop offer. And nobody tries to evangelize C, you either use it or you don’t.
