@LittleTom >botw has a better open world than ER
Nigger BOTW is fucking EMPTY, there's almost nothing outside the great plateau and the few settlements are either uninteresting (kakariko) or a pain to navigate (zora's, rito's)
There are acres and acres of literally fuck all save for maybe the odd bokoblin post and the art style sucks, cell shading doesn't work when it's not very stylized and the entire game is washed out

@Xeraser @LittleTom hot take they're both awful games with boring and uninteresting empty worlds that are far, far larger than they should be

@Xeraser Yeah okay nigger, or it could be that BotW has a better open world than ER
I'm hardly a BotW super fan, I'd give that game like a 7/10.
But sure seethe that redditsoftware made a worse game than evil nintendo.

@Xeraser Yes I do actually like BotW because unlike Elden Ring the world is consistently aesthetically pleasing and coherent, traversal is interesting with stamina based climbing, gliding, shield surfing etc, the physics powers are fun both in combat and puzzle solving. Shrines are almost always more interesting and rewarding than the average shitty catacomb or mine. Also you get a bike with really fun physics.
If anything BotW makes Elden Ring's open world look that much worse. The best thing I can say for Elden Ring is that legacy dungeons obviously mog the divine beasts in BotW.

@LittleTom >70% of ER is barren open world goyslop with the same mini-dungeons
>I LOVE BOTW :soy:
the fucking hypocrisy lmao

@LittleTom idk, I find that DS3's only enjoyable parts are the DLC (mainly ringed city)
>at least it doesn't waste 70% of its play time with empty fields and prefab mini dungeons
Okay but do you like BotW? :shiro_suspicious:

@LittleTom For from's first attempt at an actual open world I wouldn't call it bad. Still better than DS3 lmao.

@Xeraser I'll take Dark Souls 3, at least it doesn't waste 70% of its play time with empty fields and prefab mini dungeons.

@LittleTom elden ring is easy but at the same time
>expecting the same souls experience from a game without souls in the name just like how it happened with bloodborne and sekiro
>being angry that it's not dogshit souls 3 despite literally every trailer, gameplay reveal, etc clearly showcasing that it's not actually dogshit souls 3
fromfags are normies

@Xeraser Problem is it's basically just Dark Souls but worse. All the worst aspects of every Souls game, less of the best, all padded out with a goyslop tier open world.
Sekiro is actually good, almost everything that distinguishes it from Souls is something that makes for a refreshing if not outright superior experience. Best of all it's challenging, especially on no charm+bell demon.
