#ClimateChange is a defining problem in society. The #climate is warming globally due to human emissions.

That said, impacts from global warming are not the same globally. Storms are becoming bigger and more frequent, but not everywhere. Temperatures are becoming hotter, but not everywhere. The list goes on.

It is critical that journalists don’t apply global generalizations to articles about local impacts from climate change. When they do this, they can get it wrong and undermine public trust.
