   I have a 4 GB memory stick @3200 MHz and an 8 GB stick @2400 MHz. Normally I would go for 8 GB but this laptop has 4 GB (3200) soldered and i have mixed feelings about putting a 2400 stick as an upgrade. Should I go for 8 GB stick?

     maybe i am seeing things but putting the slower stick seems to underclock the entire thing and it takes longer to boot
