     Nice post, glad to hear it became a bit more relaxed.
     If you would charge everyone 8$ you could make a living out of it ?

     BTW, I think there is a typo in your blog:
     "I did get some remarks from people that think a Mastodon server shouldn't host this many server. "

     You probably mean "this many users" or "accounts".

     @ruud That's a great write up! This instance has been super reliable even through all the mass migrations from Twitter. Scaling something quickly is very hard work, but you've done a fantastic job of keeping up both on the technical side and the moderation side. Write ups like that are super helpful to other instance admins on how to deal with these issues as they come up. Thanks for all your hard work over the last few months!

     @ruud You know I think about moving my account to other instances at times, but I always stay because none of the other available options are as professional as what you and your team have accomplished.      @ruud this was interesting. I signed up on November 3rd, just on the massive migration. I really enjoy this instance and the variety of users around. Thanks for explaining the process of scaling and maintaining this server. I just started a job and I have big expenses this month, but I'll try to chip in next month ?

     @ruud We might start looking into helping those ex-employees of Twitter. That’s less manpower training too and we’re dealing with highly principled workers.
