   I’m sorry that I don’t know how to find an admin for this group, but is there a way to add a list of words that will *not* be boosted into followers’ timelines? That ish from verita84 a few minutes ago was reprehensible.

     @whetstone You should be able to report the post by clicking on the three dots on the bottom right; one of the choices is "report". Reports go directly to each server admins, automatically.

     @herhandsmyhands sorry to be dense but i was able to find the poster again through other people’s comments, and they’re not on our instance. the person i would be reporting is the admin on their instance, so they won’t moderate themselves.

     is this a time i should have used the fediblock hashtag?

     @whetstone that works, of course. If the post was super offensive and the instance doesn't care, you may want to tell @/mom (the admin here) about it. They're good about keeping an eye out in case blocking an instance for all of us seems reasonable/necessary. (sending them the link to the offensive post via a private @ works for this purpose)

     @herhandsmyhands It was a reply to a post about classic music containing the #MaskUp hashtag with the n-word and “you can’t make me vax” or something along those lines.

     and their instance is a “free speech” instance that explicitly says all opinions are fine except csm and other illegal stuff basically

     @whetstone I would suggest, if you can find the post, to copy the link (it's also an option when you click on the three dots at the bottom right), then send the link in a private message to mom with an explanation.

     @herhandsmyhands Honestly it was weirdly shocking in a way that it wouldn’t have been on #TheFowlPlace because our mods do such a good job. I chose this instance without much due diligence and am so grateful to have landed somewhere so well run and such a nice scale.
