Mini vibrator in action! Begonia pollination, super speedy time lapse. The vibration triggers the release of pollen from the male flowers which is then gathered on to a paintbrush and applied to the female flower. The male flower is also smooshed into (to use the proper technical term) the female flower just in case there are any useful loose grains of pollen to transfer that way as well.
