So I am not going to lie, there has been a few really toxic people show up in my vicinity recently. I have been trying to stay positive, but it has been hard.
I finally have some time to start looking at some of the outstanding items on my todo list. I went through and pulled all the comments out of my ko-fi donations for the month of November.

@nova It may not translate, but I’ve seen many of the original TikTok creators, who offered solace, humor, humanity to sooo many at a time when outside human interaction was torn from their lives - when the masks came off, and the viewers dropped, they went through a darkness equal to the light they had given.
When this all shakes out, and even now - make sure to prioritize your well being knowing that you built an amazing BBS at a critical time and that is more than enough for any one person.

I tried donating on Ko-Fi but it seemed to leave me no alternative but to get a PayPal account, but that’s something I won’t be doing (see: Peter Thiel). Is there another way?

@karrick @edsuom we are rolling out a new way of supporting hachyderm in January — for now we have to keep it “the old way” for tax purposes until the new year! I’m sorry! I know theil is a douchebag nazi.
