We really need to set #ElasticSearch up for #Hachyderm don't we?

@nova full text search really is nice, but elasticsearch can be such a pain to manage (I have many, many rants about this)

@nova just being able to search my own history would be really useful. I spent about 10 minutes last night trying to find an old post that I was pretty sure I had favorited, and finally gave up.

@nova I'd really consider using OpenSearch if it's possible

@nova I wonder if ZincSearch could be used instead, elastic search is quite a beast to tweak at large scale.

@nova Recommend spinning hachyderm.wtf back up for impact testing if you've got the ability to do that before potentially hammering the main instance with it. Y'all have lost too much sleep with this beast already!

@nova , utilized Elasticsearch commercially as a log aggregation platform. In my experience, it was troublesome and rather a resource hog since it was written in Java. A few alternatives, meilisearch,typesense,sonic..

@nova personally I rarely use search, so I could take it or leave it (and personally would eschew the bother and expense of running an ES instance of it were just for me)
