   I wonder if in the future we will have legal action over game bans. I was banned on Overwatch 2 for "exploiting game mechanics" and just got a response for my ticket telling me they confirmed I cheated somehow.
   
   Permabanned, thanks for the $10 loser. Never giving Blizzard money ever again.

     >Overwatch 2 has mandatory security requirements in order to be played. Starting October 4, 2022, all players across all platforms, including consoles, are required to have a phone number attached to their battle.net account to launch the game.
     
     Hahaha.
     
     Online-only games are not even games, they are SERVICES that can be revoked at any time. The same applies to any game that requires Steam or anything like that - even if it's single player.
     
     Gaming as an industry died when you stopped being able to pay for the data on physical media (CDs / DVDs).
     
     Imagine paying for a banana that you're sure you will eat in the evening, but you see that it has disappeared. It's insane but gamers accepted this.
