@ryo Fetus or foetus? Abandonned spelling. You're skirting the issue of English being a promiscuous language, borrowing from Classic, Vulgar, Medieval Latin, Old and Modern French/Dutch/German/etc., etc.; not using calques (like the Nips do, mostly), but rather having sometimes up to 4 differently spellt words comming from the selfsame Latin root. Which itself is devilishly close to the one about English spelling, and how shit it can be.
roricon itself isn't much better, coming form a psychological or psychiatric term, comming from a proper noun, Lolita, itself from a novel, being through usage turnt into a common one; and complex. And an omitted 'sufferer/haver'. Fun fact: <spoiler>
@godcock In practise the words ロリコン (rorikon/lolicon) and ショタコン (syotakon/shotacon) refer more to the drawings. The proper word for "paedophilia" in Japanese is actually "小児性愛" (syouniseiai), and child pornography would be 児童ポルノ (jidou porno) or 児ポ (jipo) if you're in a hurry and don't mind taking more time correcting Fcitx.
