  Test for a possible Rebased bug.
  
  If I spell a mention wrong, e.g. @billstclair, and then go back and edit the status to spell it correctly, the <status>.mentions field doesn't get populated. @alex
  
  I fixed the mention by editing the post. If billstclair is not in the mentions, I'll create an issue in GitLab.
