   this has been tried. it does not work. unless your goal is to enable a bunch of deeply boring people to hold model un about 'the whiteness problem' while doing absolutely nothing, then inevitably end up suspending a bunch of brown people & call it a day

     There is conversation about a proposed gathering of collectively/cooperatively/democratically run Mastodon instances.

     yea just preëmptively block all of these b/c they are absolutely going to end up in a racist meltdown with all the mods pretending they can't do anything about it w/o holding a plebiscite, sooner rather than later
