I am struck by the above as one of the conclusions from some some serious investment in time, treasure and attention that I was involved in from back in the 2015-2016 days was very similar:

... and the question SHOULD NOT BE

"Everyone is enthusiastic about blockchain, so shouldn't we get in the room as well to sound intelligent and innovative?" ⟩
