I get some joy catching up with people that I haven't spoken with in a while, even better when the feeling is mutual and they want to come and talk with me. I really hope to convey this better and more often.

@Soy_Magnus Thanks. It has taken experience and time to adopt the approach that I do. I do prefer it, even when it can be a challenge to maintain sometimes. Yes, English is my first language. I'd love to be good at a second language though. What about you?

@awl How can I resist catching up when you'd live for it? Aha.

@Soy_Magnus Sounds good. If I learned another language, I would probably make it classical latin or greek. Just because it is fascinating to read what people in the past wrote. What remains of it anyway. Not sure about communicating with current people through it though.

@sim oh I'm a mega mess lulz. I would also like to learn a second language I have 2 span-eng eng-span dictionaries but they dont cover linguistic structure unfortunately. If I work at a bar again I think I'll try it there. There's always Spanish speaking customers and workers for u to try with lulz

@Soy_Magnus Yeah. It is unfortunate that they have become dead languages, on saying that... it only takes schools bothering to teach the language again so that it becomes a language for the living again. I wish they had done that for my education growing up. Yeah, there is a lot of interesting facts within the language. Perhaps it is a good starting point if you want to learn other languages that grew from it.

@sim they're both dead languages but the cool thing about Latin and some what of Greek, is that its already mostly in the language, u just have to learn the different meanings. I learned virus means poison in Latin when I was interested in it =}. And if u learn it its super easy to learn any other language that's Latin based so its fairly valuable in that sense
