   Weird how vintage japanese women look more….like people to me. IDK what’s up, I assume it’s the face filters just messing with their facial proportions today, because something always looks wrong.

   She’s trying to mess with her eyes and paint on additional lip and it’s tripping sensors somewhere in my brain stem

     @Wisconsin_Kraut Good luck….I had one of those in high school and they already made film hard to find. It’s all vintage and expensive. Just having a DSLR is such an improvement, something that’s quick to turn on, quick to snap, where you can go from inactive to taking a shot in less than 2-3 seconds. Phones are way, way too slow and shitty, the touchscreen hobbles your speed, you always end up losing the authentic moment.

     But bringing a barrel up and snapping one off guard gets you some really pretty pics where she looks real, and normal, and not trying to make a face

     @Wisconsin_Kraut It’s always funny when you slowly wean them off makeup, they always think it’s some trick, that they’re gonna wake up all messy and you’re gonna take it all back and kick her out forever because you didn’t know she’d look “that bad“

     @Wisconsin_Kraut I love those cute little moments when she just looks all precious, but you don’t wanna seem too clingy so you just smile at her.

     I used to have fun photographing everything….I ought to get back into it. Having a phone really ended it for me, quit carrying the camera as much, and the phones are too clunky to use in comparison.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot I think they make new stock 16mm I could always get a half frame, and I believe there is one company that is still making that 70s formula Kodak color film.

     @Wisconsin_Kraut I mean, if you’re willing to pay I’m sure the cottage industry still exists, it’s just gonna take some money. Some of that stuff is money. my buddy did aerial photography and used to recycle the scrap film he cut off the rolls, guess it had enough silver in it to be worth something still.

     You’ll probably have to send it off, unless you develop in-house.
