   Relieved to have gotten an articling job offer after yesterday's interview. This puts me more firmly on the path to getting licensed (or I should say "called to the bar") in BC.

   I was dreading this job search, especially as an internationally trained lawyer. But thankfully I got a few bites from my first batch of applications, and I hit it off very well with the lawyer from yesterday's interview, so we're moving forward.

   Now to start on the cumbersome BC Law Society application materials....

     @IntlLawGnome Oh wow, congrats! I hear that even though we share the same common law roots, Canadian law can be surprisingly different in some aspects. This is an impressive path you are taking!!

     @YoWatShiinaEsq Thank you! Yes, it's a bit disorienting at times. And I'm switching up practice areas as well, so it's doubly challenging. But it shouldn't be boring!
