Some news sources are calling out security issues in Mastodon as proof it is a dumpster fire waiting to happen.
But I am old. It seems any platform that gets new attention will have newly discovered issues. I remember Win NT, Java, Adobe, Java and Java issues .
Oh, and Zoom when they exploded during COVID.
So thoughts?

I pose this question to folks fear-mongering Mastodon insecurities: Do you put this much energy and time into identifying problems within the environments that you work in/manage/etc?
