   I seem to understand that each instance can moderate its own users' content, e.g. if alice@example1 posts something problematic, the example1 mods can take action.

   Instance mods can also decide to silence or block entire other instances from their instance.

   Is there an in-between, where if bob@example2 posts something problematic, example1 mods could block that user or a specific post from their example1 instance, but not the whole example2 instance?

     @cassidyjames Yes, of course. Anything you can do to a local account or post, you can do to a remote one. Domain blocks are the nuclear last resort option.

     Is the staff@ address monitored though? I never got a response to either unrelated email I sent.
