     @volpeon Specially as it's a problem that Mastodon should deal with as there's prior software with formatting on the fediverse. So it's a you broke it you fix it moment.

     The issue is that not every Mastodon server uses Glitch-soc. There are still many servers (even popular ones) that won't see the markdown. This is an issue that needs to fixed in vanilla mastodon.
