   @mastohost I haven’t been able to find this info on the site: is there a way to have federation / defederation automatically mirror a model instance ? (Eg. defederate automations any instance my chosen “model” defederates)?

     @santiago No. Admins decide who they federate with or not, but it's all managed via the Mastodon admin interface.

     Maybe Mastodon offers that functionality in the future but currently there is no simple way to do that without relying on third party tools.

     @santiago I understand, it's something that hopefully will be addressed in the near future. I would prefer for a Mastodon solution, to some sort of thing that only my platform provides.

     @mastohost thx ! at my small scale (personal instance + 4 home bots) I manage it by simply validating follow requests but I wish there was an easy option to just filter out the same bad stuff as “average” people would do.
