The US economy in general does better under Democrats because they gear their policies to benefit poor and middle class families and reduce income inequality.
I think guaranteed income makes sense for capitalists who employ robots rather than workers since surveys show robots make almost no household buying decisions.
People buying things 100% Robots buying things 0%

I also think there should be a cap on maximum income, as well, to reduce the resulting madness at the top. (See: Twitter)
@eggmont I think there may not be need for consumer in capitalism. Ofcourse they can make products by robot and sell it. Then they will re-investegate profit for another robots. But they can collect materials by robot ,too. And they will make anoter robot by those materials. Even in this case capital itself is growing. May be without consumer sector capital grows more effectvery.
So, there could be no place for human kind in future of capitalism, I guess.
