   I spent way too much time wondering why my RSS script wasn’t grabbing a particular site, only for the site owner to reveal the other day that they’ve gone darknet-only.

     Just use "proxychains -q newsboat", configure proxychains to run over Tor.
     That's how I did it myself, and it works.

     @ryo Yes, actually. I couldn’t get newsboat reload to play nicely with onion pages.

     @wrongthink torsocks needs Python to work whereas proxychains doesn't, so yet another advantage for the proxychains.
