     @inthehands I wonder if they remember that however the code was obtained, a software-based system has system-level qualities that eclipse the code _as code_, and must be nurtured separately from feature-level behavior.

     It wouldn't surprise me if they don't. But hey, Theory of Constraints and Your Code as a Crime Scene are having a good day.
