Holy shit! For the first time ever, I got a #Linux system accepting fingerprint input! Wow!
I don't yet know if it can unlock this way, or f I want that (I want to be sure it demands a password if tampered with). But, it's enrolling my fingers!

Yes! It does unlock! And it's FAST! Now... I need to do some testing. I need to ensure I can extremely quickly drop back to password, and I need it to only accept passwords at boot.

Frst test passed! It indeed will NOT unlock with fingerprint at boot! (This, btw, is ultra important.)

Sudo, including gui sudo, does NOT approve via fingerprint. Good good, this is what it should be doing.
Next up is log out instead of lock. I'm hoping a log out requires password.

Logging out results in needing the actual password. Perfecto!
I already have the muscle memory of ctrl + alt + L for screen locking, I can config the power button to log out or shut down to quickly trigger requiring the password, with the fallback of force power off. -

Nevermind! Waking from sleep requires the password! Ah, this is a thing of beauty! This is EXACTLY how I'd want fingerprint unlock to work!
