   I will also note, even if you do manage to take out a data center... These things are *already* distributed across dozens of different datacenters, and taking out just one or two is barely even a flesh wound. If you want to take one out, you need to get lots and lots of people to agree, and then coordinate on shutting down all the datacenters at once - by passing a law and then enforcing it, say, or something like that. Hence why I'm making these posts!

     "Can't we just unplug it if it goes bad?" Yeah, go try and unplug the *actual ChatGPT* running in the *actual datacenters* *right now*, and see how far you get. Spoiler: You won't get very far. And if you think the people who run and work in the data centers will come to their senses at the last minute and take care of things... Well, good luck. Gonna be disappointed, I'm afraid... -_-
