Adversaries can use PII against our soldiers. Threat models include soldier facing identify theft/financial fraud, or whose spouse is put in an infidelity suggesting deep fake, is as compromised/combat ineffective as a battle causality. Really glad they didn't encrypt any of this data 🤦♂️
