Alexandre Oliva (lxo@gnusocial.net)'s status on Friday, 25-Nov-2022 14:11:17 JST Alexandre Oliva that's victim-blaming. it's as false as the other accusations raised against him. it's people who invented and who promote those fabrications that are divisive. he's a victim. disinformation flourishes because many people care deeply about injustice but very few check the facts. -

Alexandre Oliva (lxo@gnusocial.net)'s status on Friday, 25-Nov-2022 14:37:30 JST Alexandre Oliva misrepresentations, exagerations, strawmen and false narratives say more about those who put them forth than about the person they attempt to destroy. finding people guilty upon accusation is typical disregard for human rights. people who defend human rights shouldn't do that. but dishonest and malicious manipulative people often accuse their opponents of their own misdeeds, or of emotional triggers that people find so repulsive that they react emotionally to the accusation rather than to any evidence or proof. if you're not engaging into such mind trickery yourself, you're yet another victim of manipulation. check your values and evidence. -
