   @benlockwood I've found myself talking about prices the way I ued to make fun of my grandparents for.... except I'm referring to like a few years ago.

   I frame time by my last major move - coming to Oregon in 2018. In that chunk of time, I remember fast food combo meals being cheap enough I might grab on a whim during an errand without thinking about the financial impact. Cheap enough that my health was the primary reason I might not buy one on any given day.

     I think when the maga era is finally over and we’re able to fully quantify its effects, we’ll see it as one of the largest transfers of wealth from the working class to the wealthy in American history
