     please don’t be a megafan of a fucking software project

     if you find yourself on a discord for a privacy project raiding other communities that criticized that project: what are you doing?

     if the project is so fragile that criticism could kill it, a motivated adversary (which fedi isn’t) can do much worse than that

     shielding a project from critique makes us all less safe. a project that can’t take critique from its users is one that’s incapable of keeping any of us safe.

     “you’re taking them out of context” they’ve been actively destroying context by scrubbing their posts

     “they were only pointing out how the codeberg ban on cryptocurrencies affected them” and I was only pointing out it didn’t, and that they’re the exact types of dickheads who pretend it did

     and of course this came from an account that registered a couple months ago and has barely any activity other than this specific topic

     how weird that almost everyone defending graphene and making weird accusations has an account that looks like that
