   @MischievousTomato what's weird is that if he wasn't totally bluffing, I know there are enormous companies that would pay him 6-7 figures to maintain Python 2 so they can play the same game he is.

     I used to be in the mindset of "okay dude, you're retarded" (in response to that dev) camp, but seeing how apathetic the Python devs are with legacy support, such as dropping any Windows releases past the EOL of mainstream support, then I can start to agree with their uphill effort.
